The Museum

Established in 1965, the Ukrainian Museum is home to pioneer artifacts collected by visionaries in Gardenton from surrounding villages: Stuartburn, Tolstoi, Rosa, Vita, Sundown, Caliento, Sarto, Zhoda and Arbakka.

The museum features handmade, traditional Ukrainian costumes, handmade pioneer tools brought from Ukraine, beautiful folk art such as Pysanky (Ukrainian Easter eggs), a thatched pioneer home, early books and photographs, and a pioneer schoolhouse.

The museum is open to be toured upon request from mid May to September.
